• The British energy consulting firm Wood Mackenzie predicts North Dakota's Bakken play and the Eagle Ford play in Texas will produce 1.3 millions barrels per day by the end of the decade. The firm cites data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showing North Dakota's production was 660,000 barrels per day for June and on track to break 750,000 barrels per day by the end of the year. Read more...
