Denver-based Kodiak Oil & Gas reported today that it recently completed two additional Bakken shale oil wells in the southeastern portion of the company’s acreage block on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in Dunn County. These are the seventh and eighth producers completed by Kodiak since the beginning of the year. Details are available here.
In addition, Austin, Texas-based Brigham Exploration announced the completion of a well on its Rough Rider acreage in Williams County. The well was completed with 28 fracture stages and is the sixth overall 18+ stage fracture stimulation completed by Brigham in the Williston Basin. Brigham has now completed six wells under the company's participation agreement with U.S. Energy Corp. Details are available here.
