Brigham Exploration today announced the initial flow back rates for two of its newest wells in Williams County. The first of these, Jackson 35-34 #1H, produced approximately 3,540 barrels of oil equivalent during its early 24-hour flow back period. The second well, Owan-Nehring 27-34, produced 2,513 barrels of oil equivalent. Both wells were completed with 30 fracture stimulation stages.
To date, Brigham has drilled a total of 12 long lateral, high frac stage Bakken and Three Forks wells, which have averaged an early peak 24-hour production rate of approximately 2,371 barrels of oil equivalent. Its highest rate thus far came from the State 36-1 #1H well in Williams County, which had an initial 24-hour flow back rate of 3,807 barrels of oil equivalent.
