Crown Butte Wind Power Update
Mandan-based Crown Butte Wind Power has released its quarterly report, which shows the company continues to struggle with financing for its proposed projects in western North Dakota. According to the report, the lender that had tentatively agreed to provide $37.5 million for Crown Butte's Gascoyne I wind park (a 19.5 MW project), terminated the non-binding agreement during the due diligence period. The company is also seeking funding for other shovel-ready projects including one proposed near Elgin and another near Wibaux, Montana.
