Reuters reported late today that the Senate has rejected a measure to permanently stop the Environmental Protection Agency from regulating greenhouse gas emissions blamed for global warming. The Senate also rejected three other amendments sponsored by Democrats that would have limited the EPA's authority to regulate emissions, according to the Reuters report. Read more...
