House Passes Emissions Legislation

The U.S. House of Representatives reportedly has passed a bill (HR.3409) that would strip the federal government's authority to regulate greenhouse-gas emissions. The legislation was introduced by Rep. Bill Johnson, R-Ohio, and would repeal many of the regulations established under the Clean Air Act. Opposition is expected to be strong in the Senate where the bill goes next. Read more
