EPA Criticizes Keystone XL Environmental Study

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) reportedly has concluded that the latest draft environmental study done by the U.S. State Department for the Keystone XL pipeline is "insufficient". According to Reuters, the EPA says the study fails to adequately address the emissions from oil sands production and the safety of transporting oil sands crude by pipeline. The Obama administration is expected to make a decision about the Keystone XL project later this year. Read more
