Plans for another new refinery in North Dakota were updated today with the announcement that ground breaking for the proposed Thunder Butte Petroleum Services project is scheduled for this spring. The $400 million facility will be located near Makoti on the Fort Berthold Reservation and owned by the Three Affiliated Tribes. According to today's report, the refinery will process 20,000 barrels per day of Bakken crude into diesel fuel, propane and naptha. Read more
