Wind Works Power Corp. has placed an order with Nordex USA for up to 60 2.5-MW wind turbines for its Thunder Spirit project in Adams County, ND. The developer says the order will enable the project to maintain eligibility for the federal production tax credit. Thunder Spirit is a two-phase wind energy project totaling 150 MW. A power purchase agreement for the wind farm's first 105 MW was signed with Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. in October 2013.
