U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack’s senior energy and climate advisor Robert Bonnie will join other regional, national and international speakers at The Future of Coal and Biomass in a Carbon-Constrained World: Technology & Policy Opportunities for the Midwest on Monday, November 2, at the NDSU Alumni Center, Fargo. The conference is sponsored by the Great Plains Institute.
“This conference will showcase how existing and emerging technologies will allow us to take advantage of our coal and biomass resources while generating new economic opportunities, substantially reducing carbon dioxide emissions, and providing a wide range of habitat, soil conservation and water quality benefits,” said Great Plains Institute Policy Director Brad Crabtree.
