Denver-based American Oil & Gas Inc. announced today that drilling operations have begun on the Tong Trust 1-20H well in Williams County. The well is part of the company's 76,000 net acre Goliath project and is begin completed under a participation agreement with an unnamed drilling company with Bakken experience.
The company anticipates the well will include fracture stimulation with 24 stages. Drilling operations are estimated to take approximately 30 to 45 days and completion, including fracture stimulation, is expected to follow within two to four weeks of drilling rig release, depending on weather.
