PSC Seeks More Info on Mine Permit Application

The North Dakota Public Service Commission has requested additional information from the developers of a proposed lignite coal mine. The permit application was filed in March by Texas-based Great Northern Development Corporation for a mine to be located west of Dickinson. Coal from the mine would be used to power a nearby plant that would produce electricity from hydrogen. The PSC action is expected to delay the approval process by up to two months. Read more...
