Senate Votes "Yes" on Ethanol

The Senate has voted in favor of a one-year extension of the ethanol tax credit and the tariff on ethanol imports at existing rates--45 cents and 54 cents, respectively. The Senate bill also includes a one-year extension of the 10-cent a gallon small-producer credit and puts back the $1 a gallon biodiesel tax credit that expired at the end of 2009.
