Vote on Ethanol Subsidy Expected this Week

The ethanol industry is watching the Senate this week as an important subsidy measure comes up for a vote. The measure, sponsored by Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla, would eliminate the so-called blender tax credit given to refineries who use ethanol as a gasoline additive. The vote would determine if the measure is added to a pending small business bill.  Read more...
