Monthly Permit Volume Drops

According to data released today by the NDIC Department of Mineral Resources, the number of drilling permits dropped by over 150 from a record high of 370 issued in October to a total of 211 issued in November. In comments accompanying the release of today's report, the Department of Mineral Resources commented on the decline...

Drilling permit activity has returned to normal now that sufficient permit inventory exists  to accommodate more multi-well pads, the need to build locations before winter weather,  and the time required to publish hydraulic fracturing rules if required.
