The CEO of TransCanada Corp. reportedly said today that the company does not expect the Keystone XL pipeline to be in service until the second half of 2015. The company initially stated that the pipeline would be online by late 2014 or early 2015. The official also predicted the total cost of the project will exceed the original $5.3 billion estimate due to the delays in the approval process by the U.S. government. Read more
