The southern segment of TransCanada Corp's Keystone XL pipeline will begin service on Jan. 3, according to information reportedly provided in a tariff filing with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on Monday. The pipeline from Cushing, Oklahoma to Port Arthur, Texas is expected to transport 700,000 barrels per day. Analysts say it should draw down inventories at Cushing, the delivery point of the U.S. oil futures contract, supporting U.S. crude futures relative to international benchmark Brent crude. More
