B&H Wind LLC, which is made up of 51 local South Dakota investors, reportedly has secured building and conditional use permits to construct the first phase of its wind farm project. By the end of 2014, the developers hope 22 to 24 wind turbines could be generating power near Tripp Lake, just southwest of Tripp in the southeast corner of the state. The company has a power purchase agreement with NorthWestern Energy for 41 megawatts of electricity. More
